THE NEIGHBOURS PROJECT’s Snow Removal Initiative
With the support of the City of Edmonton, the Mustard Seed, and McConnell Foundation, we are organizing a snow removal initiative in the Ritchie neighbourhood.
During the winter of 2020/2021, over 100 neighbours will visit the newly established shelter in Ritchie, run by the Mustard Seed. During this time, we will be running a snow removal program, employing a couple of shelter users for a couple of hours per week. This initiative is sponsored by the City of Edmonton and McConnell Foundation, who are generously paying for the wages.
Due to the current COVID19 restrictions in place, we have temporarily paused the Snow Removal Initiative until further notice.
Tuesdays at Ritchie
Trust is at the foundation of our relationships with community. To remain a familiar face in the community during COVID19, we have been sponsoring weekly programming at the Cessco shelter in the Ritchie Community. Participants are valued for their presence and contribution towards fostering a more connecting community.
